Dear all,
Our Ski Club CERN General Assembly is this Thursday, 17 September at 18:30<\/strong>, in\u00a040\/S2-A01<\/a> \u2013 Anderson Room (CERN)<\/strong>. To help us plan the logistics, especially the drinks afterwards, we kindly ask everyone attending the General Assembly to register in advance: registration<\/a>.\u00a0If you do not already have CERN access, registration is mandatory, as it is required to issue your temporary access pass. Note that the main CERN gate\u00a0is closed and you should use the gate A<\/a> (very close to the building 40 in a nice walk<\/a>)<\/p>\n

This year the committee election promises to be particularly interesting:\u00a0we have 9 candidates standing for a maximum of 6 committee positions!<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can read their motivations here:\u00a0Candidates’ motivations<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong>Please take a few minutes to read them carefully before Thursday. Then come along, meet the candidates, support them and cast your votes. Your participation helps decide who will be helping to steer the club over the next three years.<\/p>\n

And remember: the general assembly is important\u2026 but so is the\u00a0drink afterwards!<\/strong>\u00a0\ud83c\udf7b\u26f7\ufe0f\u00a0Once the official business is over, the club invites you to stay for a drink in Building 40. Consider it our first apr\u00e8s-ski of the season, just without the skiing.<\/p>\n

If you cannot attend, you can give your signed\u00a0proxy<\/a>\u00a0to another club member, as explained in the official convocation.<\/p>\n

Si vous n\u2019avez pas d\u00e9j\u00e0 acc\u00e8s au CERN, l\u2019inscription est obligatoire, car elle est n\u00e9cessaire pour \u00e9tablir votre badge d\u2019acc\u00e8s temporaire.\u00a0Veuillez noter que l\u2019entr\u00e9e principale du CERN est actuellement ferm\u00e9e et que vous devez utiliser l\u2019entr\u00e9e A<\/a>, situ\u00e9e tout pr\u00e8s du b\u00e2timent 40.
