Tourists in Piazza Castello, the Turin’s main square. The most important building overlooking the square is the Royal Palace of Turin, originally built in the 16th century, that was the first and most important among the Savoy residences in Piedmont. As part of the Residences of the Royal House of Savoy it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
