Info about the first outing this weekend 11/12 Jan
The CERN Ski Club courses are about to start! Here is all you need to know:
We are going to the station Les Gets (Parking La Colombière , télécabine du Mont-Chéry): https://www.lesgets.com

It is mandatory to go by bus, from the stop you chose when signing up.
The buses leave from:
- Collège Joran, Prévessin à 7h07 (parking possible)
- St Genis Pouilly Lycée/Piscine at 07h05 (no parking possible)
- CERN Tram stop at 7:15 h (no parking possible, buses will depart from the CERN visitor bus parking behind the globe, seen from the road)
- Genève, Procter & Gamble at 7:20 h
- France, Archamps at 7:30 h

You need to arrive early enough ( about 15 minutes before) to get all your gear on the bus, and get a seat: The buses leave sharp on time and anybody who is late will miss the bus! You must bring your own equipment to the courses (incl. goggles, gloves and hat or helmet), skis in a ski bag. There is no possibility to rent equipment at the resorts.
Don’t forget your carte neige (or pass découverte), which is needed for taking the bus and your ID card/passport.
Further information regarding the organization of the lesson will be given during the bus trip to the resort.
