General Assembly: 17/September/2026

Dear all,
Our Ski Club CERN General Assembly is this Thursday, 17 September at 18:30, in 40/S2-A01 – Anderson Room (CERN). To help us plan the logistics, especially the drinks afterwards, we kindly ask everyone attending the General Assembly to register in advance: registration. If you do not already have CERN access, registration is mandatory, as it is required to issue your temporary access pass. Note that the main CERN gate is closed and you should use the gate A (very close to the building 40 in a nice walk)

This year the committee election promises to be particularly interesting: we have 9 candidates standing for a maximum of 6 committee positions!

You can read their motivations here: Candidates’ motivations. Please take a few minutes to read them carefully before Thursday. Then come along, meet the candidates, support them and cast your votes. Your participation helps decide who will be helping to steer the club over the next three years.

And remember: the general assembly is important… but so is the drink afterwards! 🍻⛷️ Once the official business is over, the club invites you to stay for a drink in Building 40. Consider it our first après-ski of the season, just without the skiing.

If you cannot attend, you can give your signed proxy to another club member, as explained in the official convocation.

Petit rappel : notre Assemblée générale du Ski Club CERN aura lieu ce jeudi 17 septembre à 18h30, en 40/S2-A01 – Salle Anderson (CERN).

Afin de nous aider à organiser au mieux la logistique, notamment le verre qui suivra l’Assemblée, nous demandons à toutes les personnes qui prévoient de participer à l’Assemblée générale de s’inscrire à l’avance :  inscription. Si vous n’avez pas déjà accès au CERN, l’inscription est obligatoire, car elle est nécessaire pour établir votre badge d’accès temporaire. Veuillez noter que l’entrée principale du CERN est actuellement fermée et que vous devez utiliser l’entrée A, située tout près du bâtiment 40. Cette année, l’élection du comité s’annonce particulièrement intéressante : nous avons 9 candidats pour un maximum de 6 postes au comité !

Vous pouvez lire leurs motivations ici : Motivations des candidats. Prenez quelques minutes pour les lire attentivement avant jeudi. Venez ensuite rencontrer les candidats, les soutenir et voter. Votre participation contribuera à décider qui aidera à piloter le club au cours des trois prochaines années.

Et n’oubliez pas : l’Assemblée générale est importante… mais le verre qui suit l’est aussi ! 🍻⛷️. Une fois la partie officielle terminée, le club vous invite à rester boire un verre au bâtiment 40. Considérez cela comme notre premier après-ski de la saison, simplement sans le ski.

Si vous ne pouvez pas participer, vous pouvez remettre votre procuration signée à un autre membre du club, comme indiqué dans la convocation officielle.
