Please read carefully. Because of the lack of snow over the last two years, we’ve changed the organisation to fit in as many trips as possible

  • We intend on 3 morning excursions to La Vattay where students will organise their own transport.
  • We also plan for 2 separate day trips away from La Vattay to resorts where there is a greater chance of snow. These excursions will be by bus. The format of a day away from La Vattay is as follows:
    • 08:00 Leave. Pickup points St Genis & CERN Meyrin (order depends on the destination)
    • 10:30 Start morning course
    • 12:00 Midday break
    • 13:00 Start afternoon course
    • 14:30 End of course
    • 17:00 Arrive at CERN Meyrin and St Genis
  • The instructors have agreed to reserve every Saturday from January 11th to March 1st (8 weekends). This increases the chance of being able to manage 5 outings. Students should also be prepared to book these weekends
  • The initial outings will be planned at La Vattay but if no snow is forecast in the Jura by the Tuesday beforehand, we will book a day trip elsewhere
