The Ski Club CERN uses the Kananas platform to store and process your data.
It is important that the personal data the Ski Club CERN holds about you is accurate and current. Should your personal information change, please update it in your member space, else notify the Ski Club of any necessary changes, using the contact details on the Ski Club’s web site.
Personal Data the Ski Club CERN keeps
The Ski Club CERN keeps your data as long as you are member of the Ski Club CERN. They will be destroyed at most 24 months after the end of your membership.
Who has access
In addition to yourself, your personal data is accessible by the members of the committee of the Ski Club as well as by the volunteers of the club to handle your subscriptions to the activities and the payment of the associated fees.
Access to personal data is provided via the Kananas platform which uses password protected access control to protect personal data against unauthorised access, use, destruction or disclosure.
Personal Data the Ski Club CERN may transfer to others
The Ski Club CERN shares the following personal data:
- Name, First Name
- Birth date
- Gender
- Address
with the Fédération Française du Ski (FFS) in case you purchase a “Carte Neige”. The data is required to issue the license and the insurance contract. The Ski Club CERN does not share the medical certificate or the attestation with the FFS or with their contracted insurances companies, except if they request it in connection with an insurance claim.
Your car plate number is transmitted to Procter & Gamble or CERN – depending on your choice of bus pick-up – in order to grant you access to their parking lot.
Title and price of the activity are transmitted to PayPal when you choose this kind of payment.
Execution of your rights in connection with personal data
Under certain circumstances, by law you have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data.
This enables you to receive details of the personal data the Ski Club CERN holds about you and to check that they are processed lawfully. The member space gives you to access most of the data hold by the Ski Club CERN. - Request correction of the personal data that the Ski Club CERN holds about you. The member space enables you to update most of the data hold by the Ski Club CERN.
- Request erasure of your personal data.
This enables you to ask the Ski Club CERN to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for continuing to process it. - Request the restriction of processing of your personal data.
This enables you to ask the Ski Club CERN to suspend the processing of personal data about you, for example if you want the Ski Club to establish its accuracy or the reason for processing it. - Request the transfer of your personal data to you or another data controller if the processing is carried out by automated means and this is technically feasible.
