Contactless membership

No more handling checks and paper forms, with Kananas you can automate the management of your memberships.

With the automatic management of contribmembershipsutions, the member will be able to choose their membership level and pay online during their first membership request, or will be invited to renew it when their contribution has expired (email + payment in the space staff).

How to activate automatic membership management:

  • 1 – Define one or more products as used to manage membership: “shop” menu, then select the product and change the “Used for membership” field = yes. Possession of this product (in the contact’s basket) will be used by the software to check the validity of the membership.
  • 2 – Define membership levels. In “online settings/membership”, add membership levels. In the definition of the level link it to a product created above. To force online payment for the product upon membership, set the “Online payment required” field to Yes. NB: this step is only useful if you wish to activate membership online.
  • 3 – To trigger the automatic sending of an email when the membership expires: “settings/automatic email” menu then “Add” button. Configure your automatic email with a trigger = “end of membership”. In the body of the email, indicate to the member that they can renew their membership by going to their personal space at the address: https://backoffice.kananas.com
