Kananas allows you to manage all your contacts, whether they are members, suppliers, donors, volunteers, etc.
The different types of contacts can be configured in settings/repository: contact types. You can change the contact type at any time, an external person can become a member for example, without having to re-enter their file.
Contacts can be added to your database manually from the Backoffice, automatically online via the registration form, or by file import.

Contact files contain :
- identification information: last name, first name, address etc.
- information related to the personalization of files.
- access rights: list of authorizations and access to the software.
- the cart: list of all purchases and payments for the contact
- the schedule: list of all past and future activities to which the contact is assigned.
- the documents attached to his file
- the log: list of all actions carried out on the file
You can organize your contact database according to several criteria :
- Type: member, donor, etc.
- Category: office, supervisor, etc…
- Status: active, deregistered, etc.
- Tag: label that you place on the file, example: “to be completed”
Files can be modified from the Backoffice by authorized people only. The contact can also access their file from their member portal, and modify certain information: address, telephone number, etc.
